Megha had her first taste of Palak paneer on July 16, 2012. Since I have not introduced any dairy products to her yet, I have cut out paneer and followed the rest of the recipe.
Since I have already introduced other ingredients, it was fairly simple to give her this.
Recipe:
Spinach leaves: handful
Garlic: 1/2 clove, cut into pieces
Cumin seeds: 4
Salt
Ghee
Method: Heat ghee in a pan and add cumin seeds, garlic and fry for a min until garlic is completely cooked. Add the spinach leaves and saute with little water. Once the spinach is cooked, remove from heat. Cool it down and blend it fine with salt adding water, if need be.
I served this with pureed rice. Megha LOVED it.
