How has it been 6 months since I posted?! Time flew by.
Last night was Mac and Cheese dinner with bruschetta and steamed broccoli.
When I knew I was pregnant, it felt so surreal. It still feels the same. This private blog is going to be a journey we (hubby and I) would be taking through my term as well as when our baby is here. This will also be a good medium for our babies Grand Parents, Attai's and Maama's, Aunties and Uncles and all our Cousins to know our baby better.

Add the dry rub evenly on the ribs. Place in a slow cooker. Add 1/2 c apple cider vinegar + tbsp Worcestershire sauce mix around the ribs. Slow cooker cooked for 6-8 hours.
Transfer to a baking tray. Baste with 4 tbsp (1 tbsp per pound of ribs), broil on high for 4 mins.
I have had such a difficult week. Words can’t express, I am just hoping next week is better. Anyway…
Tanush, is such a breath of fresh air…even when times are tough.
We were running lot of last minute errands this evening as tomorrow and day after we are expecting lot of snow.
So, I was just getting the gas, groceries etc etc and we were listening to radio. Here is the conversation:
Radio: 78% of women said that they want this, as soon as they wake up on Valentine’s Day morning. What is it?
Caller: Sleep?
Radio: well, it starts with S but she just woke up, so, it’s not sleep.
Tanush: momma! Momma! Momma! I know this!! I know this!
Me: uh oh. Ok, what is it.
Tanush: All these women want to wake up and shovel the snow!
Me: 🤣. I assure you. No woman in this whole world is thinking, as soon as she wakes up on Valentine’s Day, “right, I got to go shovel the snow”.
Tanush: No momma! They all want to shovel the snow. All 78% of women! Shovel! It’s starting with an S, have to shovel!
Me: 🤣😂😬😷😷🥰
Tanush, your dream has always been to be a pilot and today, you took your first flying lessons at Tampa Bay. We are beyond proud and incredibly happy to having been part of your life, this first step.
Daddy cannot stop smiling. Tears of joy rolled from my eyes. Way to go sweetheart. First of many.
Tatha (my dad) accompanied you in the back. Mommoma, Dimpu mama, Lohit mama, dad and I took lots of pictures.
So so proud of you.
Megha, Tanush and I watched Cast Away this evening (Dad at work). The first time I’ve seen this was almost 25 years ago in Hyderabad with Vineela!
I’ve never seen this since and while I’m remembered the premise, I had forgotten how well the story is made and how great an actor Tom Hanks is. Kids absolutely loved it. Tanush cried for Wilson, like I did. Megha I think wanted to cry but put on a brace face :)
Poor Tanush! Now he wants to make a Wilson.
