Home made Custard

Yum yumm yummy

Megha likes this a lot. I have to make it more often, come to think of it.

Full fat milk: 1 cup
Honey: 1 tbsp (for kids over 1 year; you can increase this if you want sweet)
Egg: 1 (Only if you have introduced egg white already)
Vanilla Essene:few drops

Preheat the oven to 375 d c.
Whisk all the ingredients in a bowl until well combined. Pour in 2 small ramekins (or any oven safe container).

In another big oven safe dish put these two ramekins side by side. Pour in hot water in the big pan in such a way that the water is up to 3/4th of the outside of the custard ramekins.
Bake for 30 minutes. After that, check to see if the custard is set. It shouldn't be should feel like jelly. If you insert a knife, it should come clean. If in 30 minutes, if its not set, keep baking for 10 minutes and check again. It took me 45 minutes.
